Event Notes: As I helped supervise a sapling planting event for TreeFolks, Inc., a number of invasive exotic plants leapt from the soil into my hands. What can I say—strangers can tell I am friendly! (This event was actually Jan. 25, but the calculator won't let me add information about species removed and time spent until the calendar day after the event.)
