Management Event

November 12, 2016

Group: Walnut Creek Wild Ones
Location: Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park
Event Notes: Armed with Puller Bears obtained with an Invaders of Texas minigrant, 18 volunteers uprooted 100 square feet of densely packed glossy privet, plus the occasional Chinese pistache. They also stripped one large privet, one pyracantha, and a chinaberry of their berries. The chinaberry and a number of ligustrums too large to uproot were girdled. Volunteers included students from Concordia University and UT-Austin.
